Ms. Amandeep

Centre Manager, Licensed Early Childhood Educator


Ms. Aman has been the centre’s manager since 2020. She is originally from Punjab (India) abd has been working in childcare for 6 years with children aged 3-5 and afterschool children to age 12. Additionally she worked at pre-school as a support worker for one year.

As a licensed Early Childhood Educator, her goal is to promote and support the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child. She also believes that play is the base of learning since children learn best by doing. Ms. Aman’s strengths are her patience and gentle, loving guidance to children.

Ms. Amandeep is a wife and mother of two children. She enjoys spending time with family, nature walks, reading and traveling. She is excited to share her knowledge and experience with Cream of the Crop families!

Ms. Paula

Lead Educator & Supervisor, Licensed Early Childhood Educator


Paula has been working in the Early Childhood Education field for the past 16 years. Within that time she has worked in preschools, daycares, after school care programs and supported children with developmental special needs.

She is a caring, supportive, and patient person who enjoys engaging and encouraging children to be successful and achieve their goals.

In her spare time, Paula likes to have fun outdoors skiing, camping, hiking and canoeing with her husband and two sons. She’s excited to be a part of the Cream of the Crop Childcare Centre.

Ms. Ella

Licensed Early Childhood Educator


Ms. Ella has worked and studied in the education field for 25years. With a B.A and M.A. in Early Childhood Education, she has taught in kindergarten classrooms, daycares and elementary schools working with children aged 0-12years. Ms. Ella has even worked as a textbook writer!

She was raised in a blessed family and she admires her own parents who are her best friends and supporters. She is a wife and mother of two children and loves spending time with her family.

Ms. Ella is a passionate learner and believes she can learn from her colleagues, work places, children and families. She enjoys helping children and their families and always keeps in mind the words given to her from the principal at her first job: “Bloom where you are planted”.

Ms. Carissa

School-Age Programme Coordinator, Responsible Adult


Carissa has been working in childcare for the last 15 years with children aged 2-12. She has worked at preschool for 7 years as well as teaching the after school care program. She has been teaching in daycare for the last 5 years as well as managed two centers during that time.

Carissa’s passion and love for children shows in her work. She enjoys the challenge that each child brings, but she always keep the child’s abilities and interest in mind.She is also a mother and wife and loves spending time with her family, camping, hiking, swimming, traveling, riding on the motorcycle and walking her dog.

She has been with Cream of the Crop 2018 and continues to share her years of experience, eagerness to continue learning and growing with the children in this program. She is so excited to get to know all our families.

Ms. Kailey

Responsible Adult, Teacher Support


Kailey spent her teen years growing up here in Chilliwack. During this time, she pursued both her Lifeguard and Health Care Assistant certifications. Through both these vocations, she explored her desire to serve and assist those who are most vulnerable. In the last year, she has specifically gravitated towards the path of becoming an ECE, herself, and looks forward to furthering her understanding.
She finds great joy in contributing to an environment that seeks to meet each and every child where they are at, as well as assisting them in cultivating positive ideas and perspectives. Kailey firmly believes that constant learning for both adults and children is paramount in forward thinking.
Kailey is newly wed, and is enjoying a new life path with her husband in Chilliwack. She enjoys spending time with family, walking her dog, and exploring new places. She is thrilled to be apart of the Cream of the Crop team!

Our Directors

Ms. Jennifer

Co-Owner, Director


Jennifer is co-owner and Director of Cream of the Crop Childcare with over 12 years working with children and 10 years as a leader in Management. She holds a degree and a diploma in music and has taught music and movement in preschools.  Throughout her career she has been recognized as a leader and has been a recipient of several awards. Most recently, the centre won “New Business of the Year” in 2019, “Chilliwack’s Favourite Childcare” in 2020 and Jennifer was nominated for “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce.

Jennifer holds her Early Childhood Educators Assistant’s license and excelled in Guiding and Caring Behaviour.  She loves animals, reading, writing, painting and has sung professionally as a soloist and in choirs across the world. A mother to two young children herself, Jennifer is proud to offer care and education that prepare children for a lifelong love of learning while providing parents peace of mind that their child is safe and having fun.

Ms. Sylvie

Co-Owner


Sylvie is originally from Quebec and is co-owner of Cream of the Crop Childcare with over 40 years experience working with children. She is a mature, nurturing teacher who is passionate about quality childcare and education.

She has worked mainly with children 3-5yrs and school-aged as well as children with developmental special needs. She is known for her creative, engaging circle times, and implementing individual learning opportunities.

Ms. Sylvie is responsible for the curriculum and programming at Cream of the Crop. She is a mother herself and grandmother to three grand-kids and a grand-dog. Sylvie is bilingual, loves anything outdoors including skiing and camping, and also loves animals and reading. Recently having relocated to Penticton, Ms. Sylvie travels to the centre throughout the month to support her team and check in on the educational programming. She is excited to bring top-notch education to the children of Cream of the Crop Childcare.
